Hello,

a bit about me:

Assistant professor, Institute of Oceanography, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan

I am a seismologist. My research interests lie in the broad area of seismology and emphasize observational insights for important geophysical and interdisciplinary problems. My current research focuses on the analysis of seismic waveforms to investigate the structure of the Earth's deep interior, the methodology of seismic imaging, the physics of earthquake faulting, and inverse and optimization theory.

Prospective collaborations

I am always looking for students and postdocs. Students with a strong background in Earth sciences (e.g, geophysics) and enthusiastic about exploring the interior of the Earth are encouraged to contact me (justinko@ntu.edu.tw) to discuss potential projects.
